Welcome to my very first divination post of the new year. I hope your year has started off smoothly! This week's divination comes from the beautiful Compendium of Witches Oracle deck by Natasa Illincic, which I was honored to receive as part of a Kickstarter. Let's see what we can expect for the coming week: The Storyteller: Communication & Sharing Offering: Love & Kindness The Reconciler: Acceptance & Improvement The Storyteller is a symbol of sharing your story and communicating with those around us. It's a reminder that we should express our values and use our stories to build connections. In my personal practice, telling the stories of my ancestors is an important act, because that which is remembered continues to live and be loved. Offering is a simple symbol of giving and caring for those around us. For me, in this context, it's a representation of reciprocity and the importance of both sharing your story, but also offering others to share their own. The Reconciler reminds us that we can accept those things we can not change, and focus our intent on those areas that we can improve instead. Taken together, I believe this message is telling us to open ourselves up and share our stories with those around us, whether in the physical or spiritual sense. Give the gift of yourself to them, and allow them to reciprocate with you. Allow yourself the time to accept the world around you, and instead find new ways to grow and flourish. If you have a different interpretation, I would love to hear it. Have a wonderful week.

Happy Wednesday! We're a little behind this week, but let's jump right into some divination. This we I am using the Mythic Oracle by Carisa Mellado and Michele-Lee Phelan.
For more details on these symbols, read more below: Happy Monday! It's time once again for some divination to guide our week. This omen comes from the Runes, using a beautiful resin and dried flowers set I recently ordered.

Happy Monday everyone. I hope you have had a lovely Monday. It's been snowing here all day, and everything is covered in fluffy white snow. It makes it hard to get motivated as I'd rather curl up with a book, blanket, and some tea, but I'm committed, so let's do this thing!! It's time once again for our weekly omen.
This week's divination comes from the Mythic Oracle by Carisa Mellado and illustrated by Michele-lee Phelan. Below is our message for this week:
Prometheus is a symbol of sacrifice. In mythology, Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to humankind, but for this gift he was severely punished by the gods. He gave this gift selflessly, even though it lead to hardship for himself. Not all sacrifice has to be that harsh, but it is giving something of ourselves to those around us. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices to move forward. Dionysus is the god of theater, wine, and ecstasy, which all bring with them some form of freedom. His rituals often involved large celebration, dancing, and libations. Pan is the god of the wild and a companion to the nymphs. He was found in the wild mountains, and among the flocks and shepherds. Overall, he was tied directly to nature and the wild, free forms of life found within it. To summarize, we may have to make sacrifices that are not easy to make, but in those sacrifices we can find freedom and a connection to nature that we may otherwise miss. If this message speaks to you, or if you have some other interpretation, I would love to hear from you! I hope you all have a wonderful week. Happy Monday everyone. Today is a day that I have spent feeling like I'm running behind...so we're getting here super late, but we're here. I hope you had a productive start to your week. It's time once again for our weekly omen. This week's divination comes from the Legendary Ladies Oracle Deck by Ann Shen. Below is our message for this week:
Freya is a Norse goddess of love and fertility, as well as war and magic. This card encourages you to be bold in your actions as you move forward. Take action, embrace your goals, and be brave! Ran is the Norse personification of the sea who uses her net to capture people and drag them into the water. This card tells you that you can easily achieve your desires, so plan carefully. Sekhmet is the Egyptian goddess of destruction and healing. In this card, we see that good things can grow from past hurt. Take the time to rebuild and heal. You have the power to transform yourself. To summarize, we need to be bold in our actions and move forward. Plan carefully to achieve our goals, but we can be successful, both in rebuilding and healing ourselves. If this message speaks to you, or if you have some other interpretation, I would love to hear from you! I hope you all have a wonderful week. Happy Monday everyone. I hope you had an opportunity to relax and decompress a bit this weekend. The start of the week came much too quickly, but I'm trying to roll with it and be productive! Let's start things off with our weekly divination. This week's omen comes from the Runes. Below is our message for this week:
Kenaz is the torch. It is the spark of inspiration and the wisdom that burns deep inside. It is the illumination that comes when searching for answers. The torch is able to shine light into the darkness and bring with it new understanding. Pertho is the unknown. It is tied to fate and probability. The unknown is both scary and filled with potential. It also speaks of luck and the creation of positive outcomes. Fehu is cattle. Cattle were a sign of wealth in ancient times, so their presence here indicates prosperity and sustenance. Fehu is also thought to be mobile wealth, so the idea of passing wealth from one person to another. To summarize, we have wisdom and the spark of inspiration. By following the light of the torch, perhaps we can find some wisdom in the hidden unknown and a positive outcome. There is wealth in the wisdom hidden in the unknown, and if we find it we can share it with others. If this message speaks to you, or if you have some other interpretation, I would love to hear from you! I hope you all have a wonderful week. |
